Bologna for Talent is a service provided by Bologna Innovation Square (BIS) dedicated to attracting and retaining national and international talent with a high level of specialisation in their professional or academic careers.

It is developed by the Joint Office for Economic Development, Business and Employment of the Metropolitan City and Municipality of Bologna, in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region and with the support of ART-ER.

The service network is made up of municipalities in the metropolitan area, businesses, trade associations, the University of Bologna, the Almae Matris Alumni Association, and the world of higher education, and collaborates with the Bologna Police Headquarters and Prefecture, real estate and employment agencies, and a number of other public and private partners.

Bologna for Talent contributes to the objectives of Regional Law No. 2/2023 for attracting, retaining and promoting talent in Emilia-Romagna, projecting the metropolitan and regional area towards an increasingly open, international and innovation-oriented dimension, with people at its core.

Within this network, Bologna for Talent works closely with companies that have joined the service, collaborating with them to promote opportunities in the region and offering support to those hired by these companies.
