Bologna for Talent is a service provided by the Metropolitan City and Municipality of Bologna dedicated to attracting and retaining highly qualified professionals in the Bologna area.
The service drives innovation in the metropolitan business and research ecosystem by strengthening connections between companies and talent:
- It provides practical support throughout the relocation and settlement process for professionals and their families, with tailored assistance, and it promotes networking events and activities;
- It supports local businesses and research centres in attracting and retaining expertise;
It serves as the metropolitan contact point for it-ER International Talents Emilia-Romagna, the regional programme designed to attract international talent.
Bologna for Talent contributes to the objectives of Regional Law No. 2/2023 for attracting, retaining and promoting talent in Emilia-Romagna, projecting the metropolitan and regional area towards an increasingly open, international and innovation-oriented dimension, with people at its core.
Created by the Joint Office for Economic Development, Business, and Employment of the two institutions, Bologna for Talent is part of Bologna Innovation Square, the metropolitan area’s innovation platform.
Bologna for Talent promotes innovation in businesses and research centres through the skills of the talented individuals it supports.
